Accreditations & Certifications

Accreditations recognize a laboratory's competence to perform specific tests and are awarded to individual locations. Voluntary bodies accredit laboratories within their jurisdiction. Each body maintains mutual recognition agreements with other accreditation bodies to assist in serving the international community.

Where available, we have provided a web link to the accrediting body for more information. In some cases we have been able to link to a page outlining our specific scope. In the instances when multiple laboratories are accredited by the same body, the accreditation certificate or laboratory number is indicated.

Certifications/Registrations
Certification/registration is when a third party gives written assurance that a product, service, system, process or material conforms to specific requirements. The most well known examples are the certification of quality management systems and environmental management systems as conforming, respectively, to ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.
